It is moving from a primary manufacturing base to a centre for conducting higher value added operations such as manufacturing finished products, Biotechnology and Research & Development. This change is being driven by a number of factors including:

  • Competition from generic manufacturers
  • Pressures globally to reduce the cost of products
PharmEng Ltd. has been set up to specifically tackle these issues. A primary focus and purpose of the organisation is to work with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers to help them become more cost effective.
